Miriam Colognesi (Turin, Italy, 1968) lives and works in Barcelona and in Italy. Her academic training and an innate experimental aptitude merge into an artistic research that essentially manifests itself through the image.
In her projects she uses different media including painting, photography, drawing and performance, amalgamating them and making them interact with each other.
Her projects arise from the analysis of social, natural and anthropological phenomena; heterogeneous contexts in which she immerses herself, or becomes involved.
